Questioner: Since it is permissible to pray in every mosque, what about (praying in the mosque of) the Ahmadiyyah?
Dr Sharof: That one (the place of worship of the Ahmadiyyah) is not to be regarded as a mosque. We can pray in every mosque, but the questioner asks about praying in the mosques of the Ahmadiyyah. Their place of worship is not to be regarded as a mosque. This is because the place of worship built by the disbelievers is not to be regarded as a mosque. The Ahmadiyyah are not Muslims. This is because of their claim that the Qur’aan lied, and that the Sunnah of the Prophet (sollaLloohu ‘alayhi wa sallam) is a lie as to the belief that Prophet Muhammad (sollaLloohu ‘alayhi wa sallam) is the seal of the Messengers. They do not believe in this; this is our dissention (with them). For this reason, if a follower of Paul (for example) builds a place called a mosque, we have nothing to do with that. We have no concern about that. Na’am.
